However, in order to help the FBI catch “the man from Toronto,” Hart must pretend to be him—hence, all the farting and vomiting. Standing in for The Rock, Harrelson plays the real man from Toronto, though he’s clearly from Texas. Now the client wants them both dead, so they will have to work together, fart together, and puke together to stop the real man from Toronto.

Filming for Netflix’s The Man From Toronto was initially supposed to begin in March 2020, but due to the pandemic and recasting of Jason Statham by Woody Harrelson, filming was pushed back many months and finally began on October 15, 2020.

Filming concluded On December 17 of the same year. Production took place in Atlanta, US, and a number of locations in Canada, including Ontario, Toronto, Milton, and more

The hilarity ensues from the beginning when Hart’s sales consultant Teddy inadvertently bunks in the same AirBnB as the eponymous Man From Toronto (Harrelson), the world’s deadliest assassin.
